This one day event displays antiue and vintage tractors from a past era. The show starts early around 9:00am at Happy Dell Park on Hwy 395. Tractors and other farm implements come from all over Eastern Washington to participate in this free show.
KETTLE FALLS TOWN & COUNTRY DAYS, JUNE 4, 5 & 6 The community celebration begins Friday afternoon with the start of main stage entertainment and booth openings. The 7K "Grumpy Grouch Fun Run" starts promptly at 7:00pm. Saturday begins with the "Slam Jam" 3/3 basketball tournament and more live performances. Saturday continues with a parade and logging events. But don't forget all the kids games, beer garden and voting for your favorite Grouch canidate. A rodeo has been on this national holiday for more than 60 years. Festivities kick of friday evening with the Bull-a-rama that allows amateurs to try their hand at bull riding before they take there seat and watch the professionals over the next days. The Kettle River Bluegrass Festival on June 25-26, 2010 is a two day event dedicated to the spirit of bluegrass music. The idea of old time acoustic string music resonating through the hills invokes visions of easier days, of relaxing in the shade of an old pine tree by the creek, pulling out the guitar and picking a favorite tune with your friends. Kettle Falls Art In The Park, June 26th Local Artists from around the area gather in Happy Dell Park from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. to share and sell their wares. Food vendors and live music will be available. Bring your friends and family and share in this growing annual event.
WASHINGTON GOVERNOR'S CUP WALLEYE TOURNAMENT, JUNE 26 & 27 Held on Lake Roosevelt , this is a two person team event Limited to 125 teams . Cash awards are presented on the basis of aggregate weight of fish per team. The Governors of all states are invited to participate or send a representative team and the one-of-a-kind traveling Governors Cup is awarded to the Governor of the state placing highest among these representative teams. ROCK CUT BLUES FESTIVAL, JULY 23 & 24 Named the '2006 Best Blues Event' by the Inland Empire Blues Society
LAKE ROOSEVELT SUMMERTIME MUSIC FESTIVAL, AUGUST 14th A family event of live music and vendors from noon to midnight in beautiful Marcus, WA on located Lake Roosevelt, just 5 miles north of Kettle Falls. The event hosts as many as 8 bands with a wide variety of music genres from rock and blues to classic and country. There are always raffles and prizes and plenty of food. MARCUS CIDER FESTIVAL, OCTOBER 2 This is a community festival that hosts around 1,000 visitors annually. The Festival enjoys a relaxed, homespun atmosphere with a parade, pancake feed, music, food, arts and crafts and, our claim to fame, Fresh Apple Cider. The portable, one of a kind rival to any "Rube Goldberg" invention, cider press, responsible for the producing the delectable cider elixir. The community has nick named the press "CiderClops."
